Now of course I am fully aware that wine and wine tasting is a personal experience and what is great for some, may not be so much for others. I have been to a couple of sites below and loved the experience, so I have created the list below based on wine reviews and well as the overall experience in the establishment.

Note: This is one I visited and as a passing enjoyer of wines, this place was really impressive in every aspect of our visit!

By reservation private tastings are available as well offering a more intimate and detailed exploration of Opus One’s wines, often including library vintages and limited releases.

8. Chateau Montelena
Chateau Montelena is a historic winery located at the northern end of Napa Valley near Calistoga known for its iconic stone castle facade and its pivotal role in putting California wines on the world map.
